One of Fidalgo Island’s most important characteristics is its diversity - its topography, soils, plant life, animal populations and man-made features vary from one part of the island to another. Due to this, planning goals and priorities are also likely to differ from area to area. Here’s a rough sketch handed out at the February 8 meeting, showing where South Fidalgo’s “neighborhood” or plan areas might be. Download and print the document out, adjust or completely re-draw where you think these areas are, and add existing or potential area names. Mail or FAX it back to the address listed on the page, and we’ll include it in discussions at the next public meeting. (744 Kb, Acrobat® file)
